Old Treasure brings Larry Rice’s love of the hunt to bourbon, and his years behind Louisville bars to the way it’s shared.
MEET THE FOUNDER
It started with
a good eye.
Before there were barrel picks, there were antique shops. Larry grew up in a family that loved looking: his grandparents, his parents, and later the birthday road trips he still takes with his mom. The vintage pieces in his bars came from that same eye for something authentic.
The search for whiskey asks for patience, too. Larry and Susie taste together, bringing different instincts to a shared decision. They aren’t chasing an age statement or a proof number. They’re looking for a barrel they love, with the freedom to leave the others behind.
Then comes the part Larry talks about most: opening it. He remembers sharing bottles that would later be worth thousands. What stayed with him was the company. Old Treasure carries that feeling from the tasting table to yours.
